Instructor Cheryl Ann Sypniewski

Cheryl Ann Sypniewski holds a B.A. in Social Sciences with a major in economics.  She earned an  M.A. in Effective Teaching from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. Her Iowa certifications are in English and 7-12 Sociology, Economics, Geography, American History and American Government. She has held a variety of teaching and coaching positions over the last 22 years, including one as an adjunct professor in English methods.

Ms. Sypniewski is a member of the Iowa State Education Association, Phi Delta Kappan, Association for Curriculum and Development, and Delta Kappa Gamma. In her leisure time she enjoys hiking, camping, skiing, traveling, and reading.
