Instructor Matt Townsley

Matt Townsley earned a Bachelor of Arts in Math Education (minor Computer Science) degree from Wartburg College in 2004. He is currently enrolled in Iowa State University’s Master of Education, Curriculum and Instructional Technology program. Mr. Townsley holds Iowa certification in 5-12 Mathematics and 5-8 Middle School Generalist. He is a member of the Iowa Council of Teacher of Mathematics and has experience teaching Geometry; Personal/Business Math; Statistics and Discrete Math; Computer Essentials I and II; Word Processing. Personally he enjoys running (board member of Cedar Valley Running Association), geocaching, and reading periodicals. Mr. Townsley teaches Algebra I for Kirkwood Community College’s High School Distance Learning.
