Yemin Yu teaches Chinese for Mid-Prairie Community School District.Education Degrees:
BA in Western Languages and Literature from National Chengchi University, Taipei, Taiwan. MA in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Teaching Experience and Licensure:
Ms. Yu has two years of teaching experience in Chinese and Study Skills. She holds Iowa certifications for K-6 Teacher Elementary Classroom, K-8 Chinese and 5-12 Chinese.
Activities and Honors:
Ms. Yu is a member of the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL).
Other Life Experiences of Interest:
A native speaker of Chinese, Ms. Yu was a translator for a U.S. government agency in Japan before coming to the U.S. for graduate studies.
