ELIZABETH DETERMAN teaches MUSIC APPRECIATION for KIRKWOOD COMMUNITY COLLEGE’S HIGH SCHOOL DISTANCE LEARNING.

Education Degrees:

Teaching Experience and Licensure: Holds an Iowa standard license in K-12 Music. Works for Midland Community Schools as 6-12 Band Director, Junior High Music Appreciation Instructor, High School Music Appreciation Instructor, Senior Class Sponsor, and Soaring Eagles after school program substitute.

Activities and Honors: Committee Member for the Laurie Petersen Excellence in Music and Citizenship Scholarship. This group organizes many activities, craft sales, bake sales, trivia nights, dinners all to raise money for the scholarship that is awarded to a Midland music student. Volunteer at church as much as possible playing instruments for worship and helping with fundraisers.

Other Life Experiences of Interest: Enjoys anything with music, family and friends, being outdoors, camping, fishing. The CUBS!
